CHEM-FREE WORKSHOP YOGA

Intro to ACRO Yoga

Sat, Jun 20 12:00 PM Victoria Park Cultural Pavilion

About This Event

90 Minutes | Curious about acro yoga but not sure if it’s for you? This beginner-friendly workshop is a supportive, low-pressure introduction to partner acro that’s accessible for all bodies and experience levels.

Acro yoga blends simple yoga shapes, balance, and teamwork to create playful partner poses. You don’t need any prior acro experience, and you don’t need to come with a partner. We’ll guide you through foundational positions, clear communication, and basic spotting so everyone feels safe and supported throughout the workshop.

We’ll start with a group warm-up and then break skills down step by step, offering options and progressions so you can choose what feels right for you. You’ll be encouraged to work together, communicate openly, and take things at your own pace. Participation is always optional, and there’s no pressure to try anything you’re not comfortable with.

This workshop is perfect if you’re new to acro yoga, a little nervous about partner work, or simply curious to try something playful and connective in a welcoming environment.
