MENTAL HEALTH WORKSHOP

A Laughter Session for Joy and Release

Fri, Jun 19 10:30 AM Charlottetown Yoga Space

About This Event

60 Minutes | What if joy was not something you had to wait for, but something you could intentionally create? Join Shiham for a playful and uplifting laughter wellness session designed to help you release tension, reconnect with presence, and awaken the joy already within you. Blending intentional laughter, mindful breathing, gentle movement, and shared connection, this experience offers a space to soften, let go, and reconnect with the simple medicine of joy. Research suggests that laughter can help lower stress hormones such as cortisol while supporting the release of feel-good neurochemicals like dopamine and endorphins, helping the body shift toward greater ease, connection, and emotional balance. Together, we will explore laughter as more than a reaction. We will experience it as a practice that can support both nervous system regulation and emotional renewal.

In this session, you will be invited to:

• Reconnect with playfulness and lightness
• Experience laughter as a tool for release and renewal
• Cultivate presence through breath and embodied awareness
• Discover the restorative power of shared joy and connection

No comedy skills or prior experience are needed!

Come curious. Leave lighter!
