Breathe Here Now
120 Minutes | We inhale and exhale but do we really breathe? Do you unconsciously hold your breath while filling a glass of water? Breathing consciously is the easiest, least expensive, and always available way to a healthier, less stressful life. This comprehensive workshop will introduce many breath practices (pranayama) and use them in meditation, chanting, movement in the Kundalini Yoga tradition. You will learn how the nervous system responds to breath to help or hinder you. And you will leave knowing ways to bring breath into your everyday life, while working, walking, relaxing, and trying to get to sleep.
