Mindful Nature Journey – Yoga in Motion

Discover the power of nature to support, heal, and inspire by slowing down and immersing your senses in the outside world. This unique nature-based experience combines mindfulness, movement and the science of biophilia to create a deep, meaningful connection with ourselves and the natural world. Biophilia, meaning “love of life” or “love of living systems,” is the idea that humans have an inherent bond with nature that is crucial for our physical, mental, and emotional health. Research shows that nurturing this connection can significantly enhance our well-being, and bring peace, calm, and a sense of balance into our daily lives. This all-senses experience incorporates activities like yoga, walking, and other exercises, as well as guided mindfulness meditation and breathwork. We’ll move across various outdoor landscapes, such as parks and forests, and complete our journey by watching the sunset over the ocean. This event is suitable for ages 13 and up, with no previous yoga or meditation experience necessary. Please note that the route we will take is not wheelchair accessible.

Please bring: Please wear comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing and footwear, and be prepared for any elements as necessary (bug spray, rain gear, etc). Yoga mats are not required for this activity, but a water bottle is a good idea!

This event will proceed rain or shine!
